Bio
According to the 1900 census she was born September 1835 in Bohemia, emigrated to the United States in 1867, had been married for 38 years, and was the mother of eight children, five living. At that time she and her husband farmed in Linwood Township, Butler County, Nebr. with their sons James and Joseph. A daughter Frances "Fanny" Roh married Frank F. Vorel and apparently died before 1900. '''''''''''' Butler County Press (David City, Nebr.), November 23, 1916, p. 9, col. 2 Abie Mrs. Vaclav Roh died at her home Saturday evening. She was advanced in years. Funeral services were held Tuesday in Sts. Peter's and Paul's church. Burial was in the Catholic cemetery. She is survived by her husband, one daughter and three sons.
