Mary was married first to Joseph Cemper and had children Frank & Mary. She then married Thomas Beranek and they had children: Agnes, James, John, Joseph, Alvina, Emma, William & Edward. Sunday Journal & Star; Lincoln, NE; 1 Apr 1956; p16 BERENEK-Mary Berenek, age 92, Raymond, died suddenly March 29. Survivors: four daughters, Mrs Mamie Shonka of Bellwood, Mrs. Agnes Jakoubek of Raymond, Mrs. Albina Rohan of Raymond, Mrs. Emma Heiser of Lincoln; five sons, Frank Cemper of David City, John B, Ed, Jerry of Raymond, Bill of Exeter; thirty two grandchildren, sixty great-grandchildren, seven great-great-great [sic] grandchildren; brothers, Frank Roh of Omaha, James of David City, Joseph of Wahoo. Services Monday, 9 a.m. Kucera Funeral Home, Valparaiso. Services Monday 9:30 a.m. St. Joseph Church, Agnew, Neb. the Rev. R.J. Brombach officiating. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery. Kucera Funeral Home, Valparaiso.
