Married John J. Marushak on August 31, 1896 at her home in Butler County, Nebr. by a Justice of the Peace. '''''''''''''''''''''''''' Butler County Press (David City, Nebr.), December 16, 1920, p. 3, col. 3 PASSED AWAY IN 50TH YEAR. Mrs. J. J. Marushak, of Nimburg, Died on December 6 Nimburg, Dec. 14 - Mrs. J. J. Marushak for many years a resident of Butler county, died at her home in Nimburg Monday, Dec. 6. Her death was caused by a cancer. She was ill about a year. She was in her 50th year. Funeral services were held in Sts. Peter's and Paul's Catholic church at Abie on Thursday, Dec. 9, at 10 a.m. They were conducted by Rev. Father Mlejnek. The pallbearers were J. J. Barcal, Joseph Krenk, V. F. Pavel, M. F. Pavel, F. F. Prochaska and James Shalon. Interment was in the Catholic cemetery at Abie. Mrs. Marushak's maiden name was Anna Wiskocil. She was born in America April 1, 1870. She is survived by her husband and five children, Mrs. Joseph L. Ourada of Prague, James, Eman, Marie and Anne Marushak of Nimburg, and by one brother, John Wiskocil of Valparaiso, and one sister, Mrs. Joseph Musilek of Prague. She was very kind and was highly esteemed by all who knew her. In attendance at the funeral from elsewhere were Anton Marushak of Franklin township, Mrs. M. Swanda of Schuyler and Mrs. Edward Leffron, Mrs. J. E. Kronjsa and Miss Marie Marushak of Omaha. _________ Card of Thanks - For the kindness extended to us at the time of the death of our wife and mother and for the beautiful flowers we tender our heartfelt thanks, and we thank those who by their constant thoughtfulness and kindly deeds during her illness have strewn her daily path with flowers.
