Bio

Brainard Clipper (Brainard, Nebr.), October 15, 1897, p. 4, col. 3 BRUNO GOSSIP DIED - Last Tuesday evening, Annie, aged 14, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Flemming, residing 4 miles southwest of Bruno. Her sickness was very brief. About a week before her death she felt uneasy with cold which soon developed into inflammatory rheumatism. Besides leaving a sorrowful father and mother, brothers and sisters, she leaves behind a host of friends to mourn the loss of her who has been plucked like a lily in the prime of youth, to pass innocent before the throne of God. The funeral was held Thursday morning; a large number attended. She was interred in the cemetery at Abie.
