Bio

Butler County Press (David City, Nebr.), January 2, 1919, p. 4, col. 4 Abie Miss Mary Barta, of Abie, died in a hospital in Omaha December 24 with influenza pneumonia after illness of about ten days. She had been employed in Omaha for several months past. The body was brought to Abie December 25. Burial was in the Catholic Cemetery Thursday afernoon, Dec. 26. Rev. Father Kopecky conducted the funeral service. Miss Barta was nineteen years of age. She was a member of the Young Ladies' Christian Association of Abie. She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Barta, three sisters and three brothers. They have the sympathy of many friends in their bereavement.
