MATTIE STANFORD IS BURIED FRIDAY Mrs. Mattie Stanford, 60, Valliant, died at 10:45 Friday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Pruitt, Houston, Tex. The body was shipped to Grand Saline, Tex., for services Sunday, and burial was at Grand Saline. She is survived by her husband, Samuel Q. Stanford, Valliant; one daughter, Mrs. Margaret Pruitt, Houston; two sons, Richard Stanford, Valliant; and Leon Stanford, Bakersfield, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Vera Gibson, Grand Saline, Tex.; and Mrs. Johnnie White, Lubbock, Tex.; and four brothers, Billy, Wesley and Lindsey Savage, all of Grand Saline and Elie Savage, Stanford, Tex.
