According to research by Jennifer Styskal Faust (#47308726) he was born April 11, 1839 in house #22, Bratcice, the son of Vaclav Poláček and Barbara Trojanova. ''''''''''''''''' Butler County Press (David City, Nebr.), October 23, 1913, p. 8, col. 4 Bruno J. Polacek, Sr., an old resident of this locality, died Wednesday morning, Oct. 15, in the home of his daughter, Mrs. Joseph Dolezal, a few miles southeast of Bruno. Mr. Polacek had been ill for several months. Rev. Father Zalud conducted the funeral services Friday morning. Interment was in the Catholic cemetery. The sympathy of the community is extended to the bereaved.
