Martin Reha (Riha) was born November 6, 1829 in Dobrejovice,South Moravia house # 2 to Jakub Riha and Mariana Pulec. He married Veronika Zevl (Zevel) (mentioned as Sophronia on many records) February 5, 1850 in Opatovice, Moravia. Martin at that time was living in Dobrejovice, South Moravia, house #2. To this union were born 9 children, 2 of them dying in infancy in the old county. James, Martin Jr, Mary, Sophronia, Thomas A., Charles and Antonia are the others. The infants were Joseph and either Vaclav or Miroslav. They came over in 1855, first settling in Spillville, Iowa. From Spillville, they ventured to Butler County, Nebraska where they remained for the rest of their lives.
