The Lincoln Star newspaper, Lincoln Lancaster County, Nebraska, USA. Saturday, February 24, 1962, page 6. David City Man Killed Car Leaves Road and Rams Tree David City UP—Edward L. Cemper, 51, farmer northeast of David City, died in a hospital Saturday of injuries suffered late Friday night in a one-car crash. Butler County Sheriff Joseph F. Meysenburg said Cemper’s car went out of control on a slippery gravel road and crashed into a tree about 5 miles northeast of David City. A passenger, James Sabata, was hospitalized and is in serious condition.
