The death of Wendelin Pokorny, 70 years, hospital, was noted in the Omaha Evening Bee , October 6, 1923, p. 3, col. 6. '''''''''''''''''''''''' The Havelock Post (Lincoln, Nebr.), October 4, 1923, p. 4, col. 4 GREENWOOD Mr. V. Pokorny, who lives about five miles northwest of Greenwood was taken very sick Sunday, and the following day was taken to the St. Joseph hospital at Omaha. ''''''''''''''''''' Wahoo Democrat (Wahoo, Nebr.), October 4, 1923, p. 5, col. 5 WESTON Mr. Pokorny passed away at the hospital in Omaha Tuesday morning, after an illness which lasted for a long time. Mr. Pokorny is a father of Mrs. J. L. Kugista [sic] of this place.
