Bio
Ike Floyd Lott, Jr., 90, of Bremond, passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at his home. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, August 17, with Rosary at 7 p.m. at Bremond Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, August 18, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Bremond. Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery. Services were officiated by Father Celso Yu. Ike was born in Bremond, Texas, to the late Ike Lott, Sr., and Manie Tomczyszyn Lott. He served in the U. S. Army during World War II. He married Frances Bielamowicz on November 30, 1946. Ike was a farmer and rancher, and was a lifelong resident of Bremond. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Leah Bartkowiak, Florine Wilganowski, Louise Muzyka, Cecile Slafka, Verna Wilganowski, Christine Bench, Helen Wierzbicki, and Mary Trojacek. Survivors include his wife, Frances; sons, Floyd Lott and wife, Beth, of Bryan, Sam Lott and wife, Gail, of Bremond, Anthony Lott and wife, Barbara, of Hearne, and Timothy Lott, of Bremond; daughters, Monica Scanlin and husband, Joe, of Bryan, Elizabeth Cochran and husband, Travis, of Calvert, Josie Oliver and husband, Jackie, of Calvert, and Theresa Ortega and husband, Jo Jo, of Bremond; brother, Kie Lott, of Houston; 15 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Gertrude Kuciemba and husband, Bruno, of Montgomery; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
