Bio
Christine Bench was called home to her Heavenly Father on July 27, 2012 after a long illness. She was born in Bremond, Texas to Manie & Ike, Sr. Christine is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Edward L. Bench, Sr.; children Leonard M. Bench & wife Linda, Martha Janda & husband Andrew, William Bench & wife Sharon, Eddie Bench, Jr. & wife Kathy, Barbara Wiechkoske & husband Robin; ten grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two brothers; sister; as well as many other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday, July 29th from 5:00-8:00pm at the chapel of Pat H. Foley & Co., the rosary will be recited at 6:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00am on Monday, July 30th at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 6622 Haskell St., Houston 77007. Interment will follow at Forest Park Westheimer.
