MERRILL, VERNON E. *BUDDY*--Vernon E. (Buddy) Merrill of Lincoln passed away at Lincoln, Sunday, August 10, 1969, at the age of 64 years and 3 months. The deceased, a retired barber, spent most of his life in Lincoln. Vernon was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. O. A. Merrill of Geneva. He attended school in Geneva, later learning the barber trade from his father. Survivors include a brother, Albert of Novato, Cal.; a sister, Mrs. Ethel Germeroth of Greeley, Col. He also leaves several cousins, including Mrs. Wayne Willcoxon Jr. and Donald Merrill of Geneva. Graveside services will be held today, Thursday, at the Geneva cemetery at 11:30 a. m. with Geneva Lodge no. 65, I. O. O. F., in charge. The Nebraska Signal 14 August 1969 *DOB is calculated*
