Bio

Mrs. Bonne was born in Valley County to Lew and Emma (Cernik) Smolik. She grew up in the Ord area and attended Ord High School, graduating in 1929. She married Joseph Bonne on June 3, 1935, in Geranium Township in Valley County in Nebraska. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Altar Society, St. Ann's Study Club and the Jolly Neighbors Extension Club. Mrs. Bonne was a homemaker. Survivors were her husband, Joseph; son Richard of Ord; two daughters, Mary Ellen Setlik of Ord and Geraldine Thompson of Arvada, Colorado; two brothers, Emil Smolik of Elk Horn and Emanuel Smolik of Alma and a sister Edna Ptacnik of Grand Island, Nebraska. She was preceded in death by an infant sister.
