Bio
Ruphine Patak, age 82, passed away in Ennis on August 17, 2012. She was born in Ennis on January 31, 1930 to Adolph and Louise (Horak) Patak. She was a member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters, Golden Crusaders, and KJZT. She is survived by two brothers,Albert Patak and wife Helen of Ennis, and Leo Patak and wife Olga of Dallas; four sisters, Elizabeth Dixon of Ennis, Helen Gajdica and husband Laddie of Plano, Alice Tacker of Fort Worth, and Clara Walters of Garland; numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Adolph and Louise Patak; brothers, Aolph and Alphonse Patak; and sister, Victoria Watson. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. with a Rosary at 7 P.M. on Monday, August 20, 2012 at Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral home in Ennis. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 A.M. on Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church with Father John Dick as celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery; serving as pallbearers will be Ronald Gajdica, John Gajdica, Danny Patak, Tony Walters, Todd Walters, and Michael Patak; honorary pallbearers will be Blake Tacker and Clete Tacker.
