'''''''''''''' The Lincoln Star (Lincoln, Nebr.), August 23, 1922, p. 2, col. 3 Obituary Frank V. Krenk was born Feb. 25, 1873 and died Aug. 10, 1922, at Dwight, Neb. His parents moved to Omaha when he was six weeks old, where his father was engaged in blacksmithing. Later they moved to Abie, Neb., and took up farming. He lived at home for twenty years, then was married and started farming for himself southeast of Dwight. After a year and a half the Krenks moved to town and opened a general merchandise store, which he conducted for twenty years. Mr. Krenk was 49 years, 5 months and 15 days old at the time of his death, having been in failing health for about a year. He left a widow and five children; the eldest son, William, residing at Lincoln; the others all living at home. He was buried Aug. 13 Sunday. People from all the surrounding counties were at the funeral. The impressive ceremonies were held in the Catholic church at Dwight.
