Source Unknown (most likely Montgomery Messenger) Published 1994 Blanche E. Prchal, 70, of Montgomery, died Saturday, March 19 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 28, beginning at 11 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Church in Montgomery with Father George Grafsky officiating. The Holy Redeemer CCW will attend in a group. Pallbears will be David Prchal, James, and Steven Duban, Roland, and Joseph Ceplecha and Alan Squires. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry, Jacob, Joseph T. Prchal, Bradley Collins and Tyler Webb. Burial will be at St. John's Catholic Cemetery in Montgomery. Visitation will be held Sunday, March 27, from 3-9 p.m. at Schoenbauer Funeral Home in Montgomery. A CCW rosary will be said at 4:15 p.m. and a K.C. Auxiliary service will be held at 4:30 p.m. Blanche Prchal was born September 17, 1923, on the home farm in Lanesburgh Township in Le Sueur County to Louis J. and Mary A. (Slavik) Janovsky. She attended rural elementary school near Lexington. She was married February 11, 1941 at Holy Redeemer Church in Montgomery to Thomas F. Prchal. They farmed near Montgomery until moving into town three years ago. She farmed, was a homemaker, and worked at Green Giant seasonally for 20 years. She was also a member of the Holy Redeemer Altar Rosary society. She is survived by her husband, Thomas F. Prchal; three sons, Gerald Prchal and his wife Marilyn of Montgomery, Joseph J. Prchal and his wife Julie of Montgomery, Daniel Prchal and his wife Jodi of Montomgery; five daughters, Evelyn Duban and her husband John of Lonsdale, Elaine Ceplecha and her husband Robert of Montgomery, Theresa Collins and her husband Bill of Le Center, Marilyn Squires and her husband James of Montgomery and Carol Webb and her husband Allen of Savage; a sister, Lorraine Novotny and her husband Milton of le Center; 20 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
