The Banner-Press (David City, Nebr.), January 25, 1962, p. 2, col. 6 & 7 Funeral Services Held For Mrs. Mike Jisa Funeral services for Mrs. Mike (Caroline) Jisa were conducted at Assumption Church at Dwight Monday, Jan. 15. She died at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lincoln, on Jan. 12 after a short illness. Rev. Clarence Reisdorff was in charge of services. Music was provided by the choir. Nephews serving as pallbearers were Joe Jisa, Jr., Lad Jisa, Bohumil Jirovsky, Emil Jisa, Charles Jirovsky and Rudy Kozisek. Burial was at Dwight Cemetery. Caroline Langbauer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jakub Langbauer, was born October 28, 1899 near Abie. Mrs. Jisa was a member of the Altar society. She is survived by her husband, Mike; four children, Frank Jisa of Schuyler, Mrs. Fred (Lucille) Helman of Dwight, Ray Jisa of Valparaiso, and Mrs. Dennis (Margaret) Pekarerk of Ceresco; 12 grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Katerine Dudek, of Lincoln. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Fank, an infant daughter, her parents, two sisters, and one brother. ___ p. 7B, col. 2 CARD OF THANKS - We wish our relatives, friends, and neighbors to know that their kind help, deeds, and words of sympathy bestowed upon us at the time of the death of our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, Mrs. Mike Jisa, are more appreciated than words of gratitude can express.
