Bio

Daughter of William & Pauline (Denner) Sohler. Married to John T. Curran on 7-21-1931 at St. Mary's Catholic Church at Belden, NE. She attended Wayne State Normal College for a year and taught at rural schools in Cedar County from 1919 through 1922. She then returned to Wayne State for additional instruction. She taught at Albion city schools from 1923 through 1931. She taught first grade at Albion public schools from 1961 until 1967, when she began teaching the state Title 1 program for St. Michael's, St. John's and Albion public schools. She continued to take additional courses at Wayne State. She retired from teaching in 1969
