Pauline "Polly" Bearden, 87, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend, went to be with her Lord and Savior Friday, Aug. 10, 2012. Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in Mount Olivet Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment: Garden of Memories Mausoleum. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home. Polly was born Oct. 16, 1924, in Whitney to Elisha and Wilma Petty. Polly's sweet, loving and gentle spirit will be missed by all who knew her. Survivors: Husband of 69 years, L.E. Bearden Jr.; son, Ronald D. Bearden; daughter, Diane Harvey and husband, Dr. Paul; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; numerous other relatives and friends.
