The Wellington Leader April 3, 1997 Janie Belle Collins, age 90, died Friday, March 14, 1997 in Arlington. She was born October 23, 1906 at Lutie to H. J. and Rosie Newton Powell. She was the last member of the family. She and L. L. (Dock) Collins were married November 23,1929 in Hollis, OK. He died in 1985. They farmed in the Arlie Community and moved to Dodson in 1968 and then to Arlington in 1975. Survivors include her daughter, Irma Dell Shoff and son-in-law, George (J. R.) Shoff of Arlington; four grandchildren, Melinda Shoff of Arlington; Steven Shoff and his wife, Sharon, of Granbury; Cindy Pricer, her husband, Randell of Wichita Falls; Robert Shoff of Shrevport, LA; four greatgrandchildren; Stephanie and Shannon Shoff, Scott and Deana Pricer.
