Bio

Esther Catherine DEAVER was born April 18, 1848 in NC or TN to Lewis Singleton DEAVER, Sr and Mary S. (Chandler) DEAVER. She married Alexander HAWKINS on June 19. 1881, probably in Bell County, TX. (The DEAVER families came from TN to Bell County, TX in 1877.) Her father Lewis and brother Elijah are also buried in this cemetery. Brother John H. is buried in nearby Little River - Wilson Valley Cemetery. Mother Mary and sister Louramay are buried in Murray County, GA.
