Bio

Baytown Sun: Mrs. Jessie Minnie Tyree, 82, resident of Baytown since 1913 died at 4:10pm Thursday in a hospital here. Funeral services will be held at 1pm Saturday at Paul U. Lee Funeral Home, with the Rev. R.M. Cheek, First Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Crest Cemetery. Survivors are two sons, Jesse Otho Tyree of Richmond Texas; and Zelmon Jackson Tyree of Baytown. Four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren also survive her.
