Bio

Civil War Confederate Veteran Waul's Texas Legion Company C William C. Zumwalt was in Co. C Calvary, Waul's Legion, 1862 under Capt. B.F. Weeks command. He was wounded during the war. W.C. Zumwalt was married to Elizabeth 'Letsey' Weems, a farmer with grey eyes, dark hair, red complexion, 5 ft. 8 inches tall and enlisted on May 8, 1862.
