Bio

Clarence Ray Anderson, 58, of Silsbee, Texas, died Tuesday, July 31, 2012, at Silsbee Oaks Healthcare. A native of Kountze, Texas, Clarence had lived for twenty years in Buna, Texas under the loving care of his sister, Marie before moving to the nursing home in 2010. He was born on September 19, 1953, to Irene Laird Anderson and Thomas Jefferson Anderson. Clarence is survived by his brothers, Leamon Anderson and his wife, Velma, of Toledo Bend; Thomas Anderson and his wife, Sue, of Saratoga; J.D. Anderson and his wife, Gwen, of Fannett; Mitchell Anderson and his wife, Penny, of Village Mills; Leroy Anderson and his wife, Marilyn; James Anderson and his wife, Reba; A.J. Anderson and his wife, Linda; Dwight Anderson and his wife, Lynda; Lester Anderson; and Alton Anderson and his wife, Lisa, all of Kountze; sisters, Marie Eaves and Ruth Herrington, both of Buna, and Martha Douty and her husband, Doug of Zachary, Louisiana; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, William, Gilbert, and Chester. His funeral service was held at Broussard's, with interment at Hooks Cemetery, Kountze.
