Chester Anderson, 56, of Buna, Texas died April 5, 2007 in Beaumont. Chester was born April 11, 1950 in Kountze, Texas to Thomas Jefferson and Irene (Laird) Anderson. He was a member of Little Rock Assembly of God. Chester was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and a sister. He is survived by his brothers, Leamon Anderson and wife Velma of Hemphill, Thomas Anderson and wife Sue of Saratoga, J.P. Anderson and wife Gwen of Fannett, Mitchell Anderson and wife Penny, Leroy Anderson and wife Marilyn, Noel Anderson and wife Reba, A.J. Anderson and wife Linda, Dwight Anderson and wife Linda all of Kountze, Lester Anderson and wife Julie of Groves, Clarence Ray Anderson of Buna, Alton Anderson and wife Lisa of Kountze; sisters Marie Eaves and husband Buddy of Buna, Ruth Ellen Harrington of Kirbyville, Martha Doughty and husband Doug of Zachary, Louisiana; sister-in-law Alice Anderson; and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service for Chester will be Saturday, April 7, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. at Hooks Cemetery in Kountze, Texas with Reverend Robert Shaddock officiating under the direction of Broussard's in Kountze.
