Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Greenwood July 22, 2012 Helen C. Taylor, 84, passed away July 20, 2012 at her residence. She was born May 27, 1928 in Macon County TN. To the late Clifford and Avie (Linville) Mc Whirter. Helen married Vernest Taylor on January 22, 1955 in Gallatin, TN. She attended school in Bethpage, TN and was a homemaker and I.P.S. School guard for fourteen years. Helen was a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Southport. She is survived by; three sons, Michael R. (Melissa) Taylor, James G. Taylor, Mark A. (Pat) Taylor. A daughter Katherine Diane (Kevin) Bowling, four brothers, Louis F., Edwin, Robert, and Melvin McWhirter, six Grandchildren and eleven Great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a brother J.D. McWhirter. Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday July 24, 2012 at 11:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Greenwood.
