Bio

Mr. Herley Edwin McWhirter, age 89, of Bethpage, TN passed away on August 22, 2021. He was born to the late Clifford and Avie Linville McWhirter on July 29, 1932 in Lafayette, TN. Mr. McWhirter is survived by his wife, Mildred McWhirter; children, Debra Karch, Gail Watson and Edwin Scott McWhirter; grandchildren, Zachary Scott McWhirter, Lucas Watson, Logan Watson, Landon Watson, Nathan Karch and Matthew Karch; great-granddaughter, Adeline; brother, Robert McWhirter; and good friend, David Kist. The service for Mr. Edwin McWhirter will be held on Wednesday, at 1:00 PM at Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Traughber and Bro. Garner officiating. Interment will follow in Upper Bethpage Cemetery.
