Bio
Funeral services for Mrs. Nettie E. Meador. 89, longtime resident of Hico, were held at 2 p.m. Wed nesday. Nov. 28, in the First United Methodist Church, with Rev. Doyle Henderson officiating. Interment was in Hico Cemetery. Mrs. Meador was born May 23, 1884 in Alabama, daughter of the late William E. and Sarah Cox Hendricks She passed away Monday in the Hico City Hospital. She had made her home in Hico for 80 years, where she was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Survivors Include three daughters, Mrs. J. P. Simpson of Waco,Mrs Paul Wren of Victoria and Mrs Sarah Reeves of Hico; five sons, William Roy Meador of Waco, Charlie Meador of Morgan, Melvin Meador of Lake Granbury, Jack Meador of Fort Myers. Fla., and E V Meador of Hico; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Serving as pallbearers were Morse Ross, Robert Ross, Horace Ross. Glenn Ross, Don Ross, and Ross Block of Abilene. **Obituary published in The Hico News Review, Hico, Texas on 11/29/1973. Original obituary is in possession of Grandson, Christopher Meador.
