Thanks to contributor #47276959; Obituary in THE TELEGRAM, Columbus, NE, 21 Aug 2003: Fullerton - Stanley C. Ziemba, 75, of Fullerton, died Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2003, at his home in Fullerton. Services are 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Krakow near Genoa with the Rev. Robert Nienaber officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7:30 p.m. Thursday with a 7:30 p.m. rosary and scripture service at Palmer Funeral Home in Fullerton. Mr. Ziemba was born May 4, 1928, to John and Mary (Swantek) Ziemba in Genoa. He attended St. Peter and Paul Catholic School in Krakow. He farmed on the family farm in the Genoa area. He married Lucille Brezinski in Columbus on 1-19-1952. He married Kathryn (Hellbusch) Bokelman on May 6, 1982, in Albion. They made their home in Fullerton. He worked for 15 years at Christensen Feed Yards as a yard man. He retired in 2000 because of his health. He was a member of the church. He enjoyed hunting, raising livestock and listening and dancing to polka music. Survivors include his wife; four sons, Steve Ziemba of Schuyler, Charles Ziemba of Fullerton, Tom (Susan) Ziemba and Jim Ziemba, both of Genoa; one daughter, Patricia (Joe) Murr of Bulls Gap, Tenn.; one brother, Frank (Frances) Ziemba of Cedar Rapids; five sisters, Valeria Iwan of Fullerton, Helen Munson of Genoa, Loretta (Louis) Snell of Omaha, Lillian Jarecke of St. Edward and Teresa (Stanley) Armatys of Cedar Rapids; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Julian Ziemba, John Ziemba, Ed Ziemba and Steve Ziemba; and two brothers-in-law, Gerald Munson and Ted Jarecke.
