FULLERTON--Kathryn 'Kate' Ziemba, 84, of Fullerton, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 29, 2019, at Cloverlodge Care Center in St. Edward. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 2, 2019, at Palmer-Santin Funeral Home, 210 Irving Street, Fullerton, NE 68638. Pastor Pete Jenks and Fran Cupples will officiate. Burial will follow at Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery, 52121 S. 380th Ave, Genoa, NE 68640. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Friday, February 1st at the funeral home. Palmer-Santin Funeral Home is serving the family. Kate was born December 18, 1934 to Walter and Olga (Siebler) Hellbusch near Belgrade. On June 6, 1951, she married Herman Bokelman. To this union, two children were born: Connie and Lewis. In 1972, Herman passed away. She married Stanley ‘Chuck’ Ziemba and to this union, Charles was born. She is survived by her sons, Lewis (Lisa) Bokelman of Lincoln and Charles Ziemba of Fullerton; grandchildren, Peter and Sam Bokelman of Lincoln, Shawna and Chaz Ziemba of Fullerton, Amanda (Dave) Huff of Lincoln, Erik Reimer of Columbus, Nikolas (Michelle) Reimer of Fullerton, Tim Reimer of Columbus, and Katie (Brent) Barta of Olathe, KS; step-children, Steve Ziemba and special friend, Vicki, of Schuyler, Tom (Susan) Ziemba and Jim Ziemba, both of Genoa, and Patricia (Joe) Murr of Telford, Tenn.; step-grandchildren, Steven Ziemba Jr., Chris Ziemba, Nick Ziemba, Patrick Ziemba, Heather (Scott) Lauterbach, Tom (Kiara) Ziemba Jr., Jeremiah Ziemba, Joseph (Rose) Murr Jr., and Angie (John) Couch; many great-grandchildren; sister, Marilyn Schuele of Cedar Rapids and brother, Arnie (Donna) Hellbusch of Stromsburg She is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Herman and Stanley; daughter, Connie (Bob) Reimer; and brother-in-law, Paul Schuele. Memorials are suggested to the family for designation at a later date.
