Bio

Mrs. Effie Mae Mixon, age 80, a resident of Robertsdale, Ala. died June 26, 1982. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Joyce Howell of Houston, Tex., Mrs. Nora Pulliam of Loxley, Mrs. Georgia McLain of Robertsdale and Mrs. Nelda Kilgore of Robertsdale. Three stepdaughters, Mrs. Cora Nix of Fairhope, Mrs. Margaret Polk of Palatka, Fla., and Mrs. Clara Barginiar of Robertsdale. One son, Clinton Dyess of San Antonio, Tex. One stepson, W.D. Mixon of Kansas City, Kansas. Two sisters, Mrs. Myrt Garrett and Mrs. Dora Steele, both of Loxley, Ala. Fifteen grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. Funeral services were held June 28, 1982 at 2 pm from First Christian Church with Rev. Jimmy Stovall officiating. Interment was in Dyess Cemetery. Funeral arrangements by Mack Funeral Home.
