Bio

William J. Bullington was the son of Henry Tyre Bullington & Elizabeth C. Howard Bullington; brother of Francis, Emeline, Jane, Sally, Joseph, Henry, John L., Martha, Robert, Rebecca, Tyre & Mary. He married Mary Ann Anderson, daughter of Peter Daniel Anderson and Sarah Ann Matthews Anderson and together they had eight children: Wilson Gideon Bullington, Marcus Leroy Bullington, Tyre R. Bullington, Sarah Francis Bullington, John William Bullington , Peter Burs Bullington , Mary Alice Bullington and Rufus Bullington. Willima J. Bullington was a Union Soldier in the Civil War, serving the State of Arkansas where he and his family resided at that time. He enlisted as a Pvt on 02 July 1864, Mustered out as a Corporal.
