Bio

Thomas Vogeltanz was born December 21, 1885 [sic]*, in Weston, Nebraska, to Joseph and Mary (Jisa) Vogeltanz. He married Jennie Hain on September 28, 1909 in Butler County, Nebraska, and they were the parents of six children. Thomas was preceded in death by one daughter, Agnes. He is survived by his wife, son, Ladislav, and daughters, Mrs. Marie Codr, Mrs. Frances Pesek, Mrs. Caroline Semink and Mrs. Martha Dowding. He is buried in Saint Wenceslaus Cemetery, Seward, Nebraska. *Other records give his birthdate as December 20. His birth year is also shown as 1883, 1884 and 1885.
