Bio

Funeral Held Monday for Vincent Frank, 79 Funeral services for Vincent Frank, 79, who passed away at Lundberg Memorial Hospital Friday March 28, were conducted at the Hengstler Chapel Monday afternoon. The Rev. Gordon Jensen, pastor of the Congregational-Baptist Church, officiated. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers were Milfred J. Frank, Dean M. Frank, Alvin Zila, Ivan D. Novak, Alvin Vyhlidal and Raymond Vyhlidal. Vincent Frank, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Frank, was born July 17, 1878 in Bohemia. He was four years old, when his parents came to the United States. They first settled in Saunders County, later moving to Pierce County. On Oct. 16, 1900 he was united in marriage to Francis Pospisil at Madison. Three daughters and four sons were born to them. The couple first established their home on a farm in Pierce County. They moved to a farm north of Winnetoon in 1911. They resided there until they retired and moved to Creighton, which has since been their home. They celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1950 Surviving are his wife, Francis; one daughter, Lillie of Norfolk; four sons, Louis and Adolph of Norfolk, Charlie of Winnetoon and Joe of Plainview; 22 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
