Frantiska Frank, 89, Dies; Rites Thursday Funeral services for Mrs. Frantiska Frank, 89, who died Tuesday, June 6 at the Senior Citizens Home here, were conducted Thursday afternoon at Hengstler's Chapel with the Rev. Frank Zirbel of Christ Lutheran Church officiating. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers were Alvin Zila, Dean Frank, Raymond, Alvin and Leonard Vyhlidal and Melfred Frank. Frantiska Pospisil, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pospisil, was born in Czechoslovakia on March 9, 1878. She came to America with her family at the age of four. The family located in Saline County where she grew to womanhood. She was married to Vincent Frank on Oct. 16, 1900 at Madison. Seven children were born to them. Three daughters, Stazy, Emma and Lillie preceded her in death, as did her parents and husband. The couple resided on a farm in Pierce County until 1911, when they moved to a farm north of Winnetoon. They lived there until retiring and moving into Creighton. They observed their 57th wedding anniversary in 1957. Mr. Frank died in 1958 and in a short time Mrs. Frank entered the Creighton Rest Home. She lived there until the fall of 1966 when she entered Lundberg Memorial Hospital for surgery. She entered the Senior Citizens Home later that year and remained there until her death. Survivors include four sons, Adolph and Louis of Norfolk, Joe of Plainview and Charles of Winnetoon; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
