"The Independent", Robertsdale, Alabama, Thursday, August 14, 1997 page 2a W. Harvel Ellison, 81, a native of Chilton County and resident of Robertsdale, died Aug. 8, 1997. Survivors include one daughter, Martha Young of Robertsdale; one son, William Harvey Ellison of Robertsdale; one stepson, Gaither Middleton of Loxley; one sister, Flo Mae Ziglar of Plant City, Fla.; two brothers, Charles Ellison of Robertsdale and Othel Ellison of Fairhope; 14 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Services were held Aug. 11 at Mack Funeral Home’s Robertsdale chapel with the Rev. Warren Dyess officiating. Burial was in Hinote Cemetery in the Styx River community.
