Services for Thomas Roy Swinnen will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 4, 2006, in St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church with Rev. Chad Partain officiating. Interment will be in Alexandria Memorial Gardens, Alexandria under the direction of John Kramer & Son. Thomas Roy Swinnen, 54, of Alexandria, died Tuesday, February 28, 2006, in CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital. Mr. Swinnen worked for Ray's Pest Control for 30 years and coached Little League Baseball for 16 years. He was a member of Cabrini Church and the Belgian American Club. He also was a member of the Cenla Pest Control Association. He was preceded in death by his father, Roy V. Swinnen and sister, Pamela Swinnen Haven. Thomas Swinnen is survived by his wife of 34 years, Jane Swinnen of Alexandria; two sons, Michael J. Swinnen and wife Patty of Bentonville, Arkansas and Christopher R. Swinnen and wife Carmela of Houston, Texas; one grandson, Nicolas Davaille Swinnen; three brothers, James Swinnen of New Orleans, Gary Swinnen of New Orleans and Victor Swinnen of Alexandria; one sister, Susan Fredieu of Pineville; his mother, Aline Leistman of Pineville. Friends are asked to call from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. Friday and from 8:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. Saturday at John Kramer & Son. A Christian Wake service will be held at 5 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
