Bio

Hubert was the son of Hubert Herschel Edwards and Laura Hix . They lived on Smith Oak Road in Grayson County, Texas according to the 1940 US Federal Census. Children listed in the home were: Hubert A (12), and Martha Ann (3). Also living in the home was another daughter, Dorothy Hix (20), as well as her husband, Melvin Hix (22) and their child, Bobby G Hix (4). Older sibings of Hubert (not listed in 1940) were Jewell , Opal Fern and Herman G Edwards. Hubert enlisted in the Army Air Corps on October 17, 1945 in Dallas, Texas. He served in the 13th Deport Repair Group Squadron. He was honorably discharged February 9, 1947. He married Pauline Stone. August 18, 1947. in Grayson County, Texas.
