Linda Sue Johns, 66, of Oak Leaf, Texas, passed away Friday, June 15, 2012, at her home. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, June 17, 2012, at Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Monday, June 18, 2012, at the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Chapel in Waxahachie with Pastor Ron Adams officiating. Interment will be 3 p.m. at the New Harmony Cemetery, Van, Texas. Linda Sue was born in Dallas, Texas, to the late Jack and Letha (Bell) Miller. She graduated from South Oak Cliff High School and was in the mortgage business most of her life. Linda was a former member of the Texas Tall Tales Book Club and Lecture Luncheon Club. She was preceded in death by her grandmother Bell. Survivors include her husband of 39 years, M.O. Johns, of Oak Leaf; son, Steven Johns and his wife, Amy, of Terrell; granddaughter, Olivia Johns; sister, Shirley Henry and her husband, Eddie; niece, Ginger Henry; nephew, Jack Henry; several great-nieces and nephews; special friends, Pam Horton, Jeannie Carpenter, Sherry Dollus and a host of other friends and family.
