Bio
Shirley Ann Henry, age 79, of Oak Leaf, passed away early Wednesday morning, April 12, 2017. She was born July 24, 1937 in Dallas to Jack Joe and Letha May (Bell) Miller. Shirley was the former Mayor Pro-Tem of the City of Oak Leaf. She was the President of Henry Building, a life time member of the Texas Tall Tales Book Club and active in many civic organizations. Shirley was co-owner of Memory Lane Antiques in Waxahachie. Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Eddie Henry of Oak Leaf; one daughter, Ginger Kay Mason; one son, Jack Clinton Henry; two grandsons, Michael William Henry and Clinton Edward Henry; two granddaughters, Megan Kristine Gauldlin and Rachel Kathryn Mason; great grandchildren, Mariah Ashton and Alice Gauldlin; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. Visitation for family and friends will be 6 to 8 PM Friday, April 14, 2017 at the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10AM Saturday, April 15, 2017 in the chapel of the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home with James Schoenrock officiating. Interment will follow at the Shiloh Cemetery in Ovilla.
