☆～ VETERAN ～☆ Lyle passed away Tuesday, May 1st, 2012, at the Good Samaritan Society in Scribner, NE. Lyle was born October 3, 1937, in Chambers to Albert Sr. and Genevieve (Butterfield) Kopejtka. Lyle is survived by: son, Lyle Kopejkta, Jr., of Fremont, NE, daughters; Dorothy Kopejtka, of Fremont, NE. and Bernadean Bassett and husband, Dan, of Boise, ID.; 16 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, sisters; Irene Beed, of Chambers, NE., Carloyn Sass, of Huron, S.D., Dee Miller, of Inman, NE. and Shirley Chmiel, of O'Neill, NE. and brother, Gary Kopejtka, and wife Diane, of O'Neill, NE. Lyle Graduated from Inman High School and went on to enlist in the U.S. Navy on October 25, 1955, and was honorably discharged on April 8, 1959. Lyle was a Truck Driver for Nekolite and Grothe Trucking, hauling cattle. He is preceded in death by: grandparents, parents, daughters Brenda Seely, Valerie Kopejtka and brother, Babe. Burial was in the Inman Cemetery, Inman, NE. Military Graveside Rites will be conducted by the O'Neill American Legion Simonson Post 93.
