Genevieve Helen Butterfield Kopejtka Genevieve Helen Kopejtka, age 90, of Inman, passed away Saturday, July 14, 2007, at Avera St. Anthony's Hospital in O'Neill. Visitation was held from 6-9 pm on Monday, July 16, 2007, at Biglin's Mortuary in O'Neill. Funeral services were held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, July 17, 2007, at Biglin's Mortuary in O'Neill. Rev. Lance Clay officiated the service. Music was provided by Marsha Kopecky. Pallbearers were Doug Beed, Troy Wright, Steve Beed, Chris Miller, Mike Kopejtka, Scott Baker, Jason Kopejtka, Lyle Kopejtka Jr. , Brian Kopejtka, Jeff Everett and Tyler Wright. Honorary pallbearers were all of her grandchildren. Internment was in the Inman Cemetery. Genevieve was born September 30, 1916, at Inman to Henry and hila (Woods) Butterfield. She married Albert Kopejtka on May 26, 1936, at O'Neill. Albert passed away April 11, 2003. Genevieve is survived by her sons, Lyle Kopejtka Sr. of O'Neill, and Gary Kopejtka and wife Diane of O'Neill; daughters Irene Beed and husband Howard of Chambers, Carolyn Sass and husband Doyle of Huron, SD. Dee Miller of Inman and Shirely Chmiel and husband Alan of O'Neill; and many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son; brothers; and sisters.
