Bio

"The Sabbath Recorder", Vol 171, No 17, p 16, Nov. 6, 1961. Nathan Maxson, one of eleven children of Russell and Anna Crandall Maxson, was born Feb. 23, 1882, at Nortonville, Kan., and died April 3, 1961. After leaving Kansas he lived in South Dakota and later in Arkansas, where at Gentry, he was united in marriage with Daisy Biggs on June 8, 1910. In 1917 they moved to North Loup, Neb., where he engaged in farming. Surviving are his wife; four sons, Raymond of Redondo Beach, Calif., Lester and Herman of North Loup, and Roy of Cotesfield; two daughters, Mrs. Roberta Molzer of Hallam, and Mrs. Rena Hoffman of Lincoln; five sisters and two brothers, and five grandchildren. Farewell services were held at the North Loup Seventh Day Baptist Church with Pastor Mynor G. Soper, officiating, and burial was in Hillside Cemetery. M. G. S.
