"The Ord Quiz", Ord, Nebraska, Thursday, May 4, 1972, p 6. Funeral services for Daisy Maxson will be held Friday at the Seventh Day Baptist Church of North Loup. The Rev. Victor Skaggs will officiate at the 2 p.m. rites. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery at North Loup. Mrs. Maxson died May 2, 1972 at Valley County Hospital. A resident of the North Loup community since 1917, Mrs. Maxson was born Nov. 30, 1882 at Lumberton, N. C., the daughter of J. H. and Rosa (Thompson) Biggs. Her early life was lived in North Carolina and then in Gentry, Ark. On June 8, 1910 she married Nathan Maxson. She was a member of the Seventh Day Baptist Church. Survivors are four sons Raymond of Redondo Beach, Calif., Lester, Herman and Roy all of North Loup; two daughters Mrs. Robert Motzer, Hallam and Mrs. Rena Hoffman, Lincoln. Also five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and one brother Hampton Briggs, St. Petersburg, Fla. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters and two brothers.
