Sarah "Fannie" Apple was the daughter of Oliver P Apple and Elizabeth June Burton She married Newton Dillard on 7 Dec 1876 in Smith County, Tennessee. Together they had at least three children; Elisha Powell Dillard, Myzell Miles Dillard, and William Lee Gainie Dillard. After the death of Newton in 1893, Fannie married 21 Mar 1894 Jesse Robinson.
