Bio

When Robert Gaines Apple was born on July 7, 1840, in Tennessee, his father, Oliver, was 26 and his mother, Elizabeth, was 23. He married Ada A McDearman in 1872. They had seven children in 21 years. He died on March 1, 1919, in Putnam County, Tennessee, having lived a long life of 78 years, and was buried in Chestnut Mound, Smith, Tennessee.
