Ava L. Bills, 86, died Monday, June 11, 2012. She was born on October 24, 1925 in Alton, Indiana the daughter of Albert Allen Bullington and Maudie Mae Kemp. She was married to Willard Bills of Leavenworth, IN. She retired from the Crawford Co. School Corp. as a cook and custodian. She was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church, Cape Sandy, IN. Survivors are children, James (Patricia) Bills, Aaron Bills, Sharon Morris and Rita (Bryan) Ward, all of Leavenworth, IN; sisters, Wilma Brooks of Leavenworth, IN; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Funeral is 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church, Cape Sandy, IN. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Dillman-Green Funeral Home in Marengo and after 11 a.m. until service time on Wednesday at the church. Published in The Courier-Journal on June 12, 2012.
