Published in The Courier-Journal on 6/5/2007. Ada L. Schuley, 82, Corydon, died Sunday, June 3, 2007, at Indian Creek Health & Rehabilitation Center in Corydon. Born July 13, 1924, in Harvey Flat, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Maudie Kemp Bullington. She was a retired seamstress of M. Fine & Sons shirt factory in New Albany and a member of Georgetown Christian Church. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert F. Schuley; two sisters, Elsie Riddle and Hazel Knieriem; and a brother, Thomas Bullington. Survivors include three sons, Toney F. and Tim Schuley, both of Corydon, and Rick Schuley of New Salisbury; three sisters, Ava Bills and Wilma Brooks, both of Leavenworth, and Opal Gabbard of English; and a grandson. Visitation: Tuesday, June 5, from 6 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, June 6, after 9 a.m. Funeral: Wednesday, June 6, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home followed by burial in Orchard Knob Cemetery near Alton.
