BIRTH ~ Gilbert Richard Fuchs, Sept. 17, 1934, in Norfolk, to Michael and Elizabeth (Bruckner) Fuchs EDUCATION ~ Attended rural elementary schools and two years of school at Battle Creek High School MARRIAGE ~ On Sept. 16, 1967, married Pauline Pilger at St. Mary's Church in Norfolk SERVICE ~ Drafted into the U.S. Army serving from November 22, 1957 to September 21, 1959 EMPLOYMENT ~ Farmer and Owner of Fuchs Implement and Salvage in Pierce, Nebraska INTERESTS ~ Passionate in collecting farm equipment, cars, trucks, antiques, and other miscellaneous items; enjoyed traveling (including overseas trips to Europe and China) and taking each one of his children on a trip; appreciated eating out with family and friends MEMBER ~ Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Norfolk, Nebraska PASSED AWAY ~ May 29, 2012, at Faith Regional Health Services in Norfolk SURVIVORS ~ Three sons; one daughter; 11 grandchildren; and one sister PREDECEASED ~ His parents; one brother; and one granddaughter SERVICES ~ 10:30 a.m., Friday, June 1, 2012, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Norfolk officiated by Reverend Dan Andrews followed by interment at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Pierce, Nebraska ARRANGEMENTS ~ Stonacek Funeral Chapel in Norfolk, Nebraska
